Unity Council Summer Series 2020
The UC Summer Series was created as a response to the high demand for anti-racist educational resources from the St. John's Community in the Summer of 2020. It is dedicated to

UC Summer Series #1: Why you shouldn't say "All Lives Matter"
Date: June 29, 2020 (5-6pm) Link to slides: ALM_forum.pdf Details: This forum focused on the origins of the Black Lives Matter Movement and why "All Lives Matter" is an inappropriate response. After the initial educational session, viewers were split into groups to discuss what they had learned and to act out scenarios to practice responses to insensitive comments. |
