Stop Aapi hate

Message from UC and EAAG

Our community is saddened by the recent murders in Atlanta and the rise in COVID-related hate crimes against East Asian and Asian American people. This news is triggering and traumatic for many as we grapple with collective trauma and facing increasing violence against our identity and community. We encourage our AAPI friends to take care, reach out, access the emotional and mental health resources below, and take a pause to reflect and breathe.

Our main mission is to advance the visibility and recognition of Asian American people, especially women, and we will continue to create nurturing and empowering spaces and opportunities for our AAPI friends to share their stories and resist the racist, sexist and white supremacist systems that continue to oppress our community.
