Multi-Racial Affinity Group

Our Mission

MRAG, Multi Racial Affinity Group, is a group for students who identify themselves as a blend of two or more racial heritages and can speak from that position. The group meets monthly throughout the year to provide opportunities that support multi racial students as they develop intellectually, physically, and emotionally in a community of people whose collective racial and familial experiences vastly differ from their own. Through group discussions, guest speakers, identity building activities and social gatherings, students gain a confidence and understanding that enables them to thrive among others whose experiences differ from that of the multi-racial person.
